We have the top striking program in San Diego. Steel MMA has one of the largest competition teams on the west coast but more importantly all students are trained with a solid foundation from passionate coaches. Fighters and non-fighters train alongside each other in an exciting but safe environment. We care about how good your cardio is, but our coaches are truly passionate about their art and it shows in their teaching.

Your goals are unique and that's the way we like it. We're a tight knit gym and we want to know exactly where you want to be. We offer classes designed with specific programming but it sounds like private training might be a good asset for you. Fill out the information box above and we can get you setup with a free private training assessment to cover goals that matter the most to you.
100% YES! We welcome all-levels to come in and train with us. We have different classes based on your experience level so if you are new to martial arts, we recommend you start with our Beginner Muay Thai or Jiu Jitsu classes. Those classes cover the fundamentals and are the best way to start your martial arts journey.
If you are a Trial Member with us, on your first day, we give you a free pair of custom steel hand wraps. We also have free loaner gloves and shin-guards available for Muay Thai classes and Loaner Gis for Jiu Jitsu classes.
Steel MMA offers classes for all levels in both Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. We also have Kids and Teens Muay Thai classes. If you're looking for strong striking and grappling programs we're the gym for you!
YES! Our coaches are available for private and semi-private training to help you get closer to achieving your goals. Whether its fitness, helping you get ready for your big competition, or to continue to learn more of what you love, our coaches will make sure you get what you need.
