Nearly every student at Steel MMA started exactly where you are. No background, no fitness base, no idea what an arm-bar is. Our coaches build you from the ground up – at your pace, with your goals in mind. You’ll be throwing combinations by the end of your first week. 

For a No-Gi Class, comfortable, close fitting clothes are best; athletic shorts and a t-shirt is perfect. If you’re hopping into a Gi-Class we have BJJ uniforms and belts on hand for you to borrow while you try out the program. 

Show up. That’s the fitness requirement. The training itself will get you where you need to be. We’ve seen people walk in unable to do ten push-ups and 12 months later outwork athletes who’ve been at it for years.
